(INVOCATION DELIVERED BY 139-158 DURING THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS OF KB139 (DAET) CHAPTER ON JANUARY 24, 2009

Loving Father,

We adore You for bringing us together as a family of volunteers.  As our name indicates, the Kabalikat Bicol Inc. 139 Daet Chapter, we manifest our desire to offer service to people in their struggles and need to survive all trials and difficulties in life.  For in so doing, we express likewise our desire to follow your most Holy Will, that of "loving our neighbor as ourselves."

Therefore, our membership in this chapter becomes a way towards Christian discipleship.  The Kabalikat is truly a partner in an authentic progress and development.

Father, the Kabalikat is your gift to our community.  Thank you.

As we gather this evening on the occasion of Installation of Officers and Elevation of New Members, we ask You Father, to send us Your Holy Spirit to bless and guide us all.  Strengthen our ties of brotherhood and enliven our fervor for service to humanity.

In a special way, we pray for our incoming officers of our chapter so that they may be filled with true spirit of "kabalikat" and eventually be more fruitful in their service.

We ask You this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
