KB BICOL MEMBERS TO UNDERGO DISASTER MANAGEMENT AND RESCUE TRAINING

PAMPLONA, Camarines Sur --  KB Bicol Regional Governor Jennis I. Nidea (30-01) yesterday announced that their more 100 members from various chapters is slated to attend training on Disaster Management and Rescue which will be held starting Friday, September 25 until middle of October this year at the GSP Camp Patricia, Zone 6, Del Rosario, this municipality.

The training which will be participated in by 50 volunteer-members for every batch, is being made possible through the help of Cam. Sur 1st District Congressman Dato Arroyo under its project "78 4 D.A.TO." (Assistance for Disaster-Affected TOwns) and is being supported by the Philippine Chairty Sweepstakes (PCSO), Philippine National Red Cross - Cam. Sur Chapter (PNRC), Office of Civil Defense (OCD5), Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) - Cam. Sur Council).

According to Nidea participants of the first batch, a 3-weekend training will check-in at 5pm every Friday and chech-out at 5pm on Sundays, starting Sept. 25-27; Oct. 2-4; and Oct. 9-11.

On the other hand, the participants for the 6-day training (2nd batch) will chek-in at 5pm on Sunday, Sept. 27 and check out at 5pm on Oct 2 while the 3rd batch will be on Oct. 4-10.
