SMART OK’d KbNet InfoBoard

NAGA City  --  Smart Communication, the largest telecommunication server in the Philippines has approved the application for InfoBoard of the KabalikatNet Philippines Inc. (KbNet).

According to KbNet Founder and National President Jennis I. Nidea (30-01) who is also the incumbent regional governor of the Kabalikat Bicol, he was informed over the week by Ms. Marieson Mandasoc, SMART Wireless Naga Manager that application for InfoBoard is already approve by the higher management of Smart.

KbNet is a national network and umbrella organization of volunteer groups in the country. It was launched last April this year in sorsogon City.

With Nidea and Dr. Armin Santos (33-02), the president of KB Malaya as co-founders and national president and national chairman, respectively, the KbNet's original member-organizations are: Kabalikat Bicol, Kabalikat Malaya and Kabalikat Mediacom with a combined more than 120 chapters nationwide.

Nidea said that expected to join the new national network and umbrella organization are Savers, a paramedics group based in Sipocot, Cam. Sur and New NEWACS of Pili, Cam. Sur

Nidea explained that with the approval of Smart InfoBoard, communication networking will be much easier for all the members nationwide.

InfoBoard can easily send information to more than 10,000 members thru texting.  "So, giving typhoon updates to members will be easier, fast and no expense at all, Nidea pointed out.

A meeting which will be attended by Nidea and Webmaster Elmo Villamante (120-08) and top brass of Smart Communication will be held next week to discuss the details of this newest feature of KABALIKATNET PHILIPPINES INC. AND SMART COMMUNICATION -- THE SMART/KbNET INFORBOARD.
