KPI-Smart InfoBoard commended

NAGA City --  A high ranking official of the Smart Telecommunication in this city commended the Smart InfoBoard of the KabalikatNet Philippines Inc. (KPI) for "the inclusion of El Niño Phenomenon Updates and Forecast in the InfoBoard announcements.

Ms. Marie R. Mandasoc, Smart Naga Wireless Center Manager told Jennis I. Nidea, founder & national president of the KPI that "featuring the global weather disturbance in your infoboard, even it is not in anyway related with your organization, is very much commendable".

According to Mandasoc, who herself a KPI InfoBoard registered said that she was amazed when she read in the InfoBoard announcement explaining what is El Niño and the subsequent forecast for February, March and April.

"Of course, I am very happy to share with my officemates my new knowledge I've learned from the KPI", she pointed out.

El Niño is a periodic ocean-warming and atmospheric disturbance characterized by deficient rainfall and prolonged drought in some areas, while heavy rains, storms or hurricanes in other areas of the globe resulting to innumerable damages to crops, livestock, properties and even human lives in all areas simultaneously.

Nidea visited Mandasoc last week to follow up the free Smart SimCards which will be distributed to KBNet Members who are Smart Subscribers.

Nidea explained that the Smart InfoBoard is a web-based solution that offers various SMS facilities with different functions and capabilities catering to the needs of the community and clients.

"It is capable to receive feedback, comments, suggestions, queries and other user-specific messages straight to the (a) InfoBoard web inbox, (b) personal email or (c) celfone", he said.

Through KPI-Smart InfoBoard, Nidea said they can provide general information, advisories, announcements or even user-specific data, such as: accounts dues, account details, follow-ups, grades and etc. to pre-registered SMART subscribers.

KBNet Phils is so far, the ONLY non-school based and non-government organization which was given approval by the smart of P1 per sent charging. Meaning, when you receive a textcast, charge is FREE. But when you textback, you will only be charged for P1 per sent (THE USUAL CHARGING).

During the Palarong Bicol in Daet, even non-KbNet members (teachers, reporters) registered with the InfoBoard to received the Palarong Bicol Results.
