New KB Bicol chapter in Albay installed

MALILIPOT, Albay -- The Kabalikat Bicol led by its Regional Governor Jennis I. Nidea (30-01) and Albay Provincial Executive Council Chairman Boyet Revidad led other officials in the chartering of the newest chapter -- the Malilipot (KB517) Chapter held yesterday, March 13, 2010 at the Covered Court, Malilipot National High School, this municipality.

Thirteen (13) regular members from the Tabaco City (KB222) Chapter who all hails from  this town and three (3) newly confirmed applicants composed the original or chartered members of said KB517.

In his indorsement as president of KB222, the chapter organizer of KB517 to the PEC Chairman, Sir Gel Mulato (222-08) said that "It is high time that Malilipot should have their own chapter as the original or chartered members have already proven themselves to be a true-blooded KB Bicol".

Mulato said that the chartering of the KB517, will signal the expansion of KB Bicol in the first district of Albay as their next target is are the towns of Tiwi and Malinao.

On his part, Sir Boyet Revidad lauded the officers and members of the KB222 for allowing their 13  members to separate and have their own chapter in their hometown.

Chartered members of the KB517 are:  Roel B. Llarena (517-01), Lizandro C. Bilan (517-02), Pablito T. Binalla (517-03), Cherry  O. Bilan (517-04), Jonas R. Lozada (517-05), Rollie B. Llarena (517-06), Carmelo B. Bea (517-07), Arnel S. Azueta (517-08), Cris B. Crusis (517-09), Jerbis R. Lozada (517-10), Selvyn B. Bigtas (517-11), Crispin A. Evangelista (517-12) and, Wilfredo Lucañas (517-13).

Confirmed 1st batch applicants are: Djiovane Bo (517-Mama 01), Julius B. Boneo (517-M02) and, Eduardo del Castillo (517-M03).

Revidad presided the Elevation and Confirmation Rites assisted by Mulato and Sir Tonyboy Imperial (500-06), Ligao City (KB500-06) chapter president

Installed as the 2010 officers are:  President - Roewl Llarena (517-01); EVP - Andy Bilan (517-02); VP for Admin - Arnel Azueta (517-08); VP for Operation - Meloy Bea (517-07); Secretary - Cherry Bilan (517-04); Treasurer - Jonas Lozada (517-05) and; Auditor - Rollie Llarena (517-06).

Nidea presided the Chartering ceremonies and the installation of officers.

Gracing the momentous event were: Malilipot Mayor Herminio Bitara, Albay Provincial Legas Officer Atty. Jun Bonafe, Malilipot PNP Chief Jose Pepito Belaro and Fire Chief Efren Realo.
