KB Bicol chartered new chapter

LIBON, Albay  --  Despite of the initial setback suffered before the Securities and Exchange Commission with regards to the legal battle on the corporate name against the other group, Kabalikat Bicol still showed its cohesiveness and much stronger and closer camaraderie.

Amidst the initial setback, Provincial Executive Council of Albay headed by Sir Boyet Revidad (500-01), provincial chairman  led other officials in chartering the newest chapter -- LIBON (KB508) CHAPTER last April 11, 2010 held at the town plaza, this municipality.

Headed by its  chartered president, Sir Albert Rebueno (518-01), the KB518 chapter was organized by the Oas (KB503) Chapter of the neighboring town of Oas,Albay headed by Sir Jon Gonzales (503-01) who is also the provincial chairman of PEC Albay.

In his text message to 508-01, Sir Jennis I. Nidea (30-01)snet his congratulary message to the newly chartered chapter.

"This is just one setback (referring to the SEC case)which surely serve as a big challenge  to KB Bicol and would motivate us more to strive for excellence in serving our people and community as volunteers", Nidea pointed out.  

Nidea also stresses, “WHAT'S IN A NAME? What is important is that WE TRULY ADHERE AND ADVOCATE THE REAL SPIRIT OF VOLUNTEERISM!",
