Ragay Mayor & COP cited the role of KB300

RAGAY, Camarines Sur  --  Mayor Ricky Aquino and Chief of Police Alforte of this railroad town both cited the contributions of the officers and members of the Kaboronyogan nin mga Bicolnon (KB Bicol), Inc. Ragay (KB300) Chapter in its 14 years of existence as volunteer organization.  

The youthful mayor the PNP head were the guest of honor during the 14th years anniversary celebration of the KB300 held at the SK Bldg., this town last November 6, 2010.  Also present were KB Bicol Regional Governor Jennis Nidea (30-01), PEC Cam. Norte Provincial Chairman Nahum Omana (214-27), the group from Quezon led by KBNet Quezon Provincial Vice Chairman and Calauag president Ding Mapula (400-01), KB30 led by president Nonoy Rentoy (30-199) and other nearby chapters.

Aquino said that even during the time of his father, Dr. Renato Aquino, the KB300 is always ready to give any assistance to the LGU espcially during calamities and emergencies.

According to Aquino that under his administration he will continue to recognize the group .

On his part, COP Alforte said that he is very thnkful that the volunteer members of KB300 are always ready for action and assist his pPNP personnel especially during vehicular accidents along Quirino Highways.

In the meanwhile, Nidea extend his warm felicitation to the KB300 as he acknowledged the continous support of the chapter to the KB Bicol.

Former Cam. Sur Provincial Chairman Irvin C. Ayo (30-54) reminished to the group how KB30 under his presidency fought for the establishment and chartering of KB30.

Guest speaker Joseph Sarsaba who is the founder and organizer of KB300 recalled the agonizing years when organized the chapter 14 years ago.

Sarsaba, then a classrom teacher in Ragay and now a principal in his own hometown in Milaor said that he did not regret what he did 14 years as everybody can witness the KB300 as an effective NGO partner of the government.
