KB Lupi elevated 5 new members/confirmed 10 applicants

LUPI, Camarines Sur  -- The Lupi (KB518) Chapter of the Kaboronyogan nin mga Bicolnon (KB Bicol), Inc. had elevated five (5) applicants into regular members and confirmed ten (10) new applicants during its Christmas Party held last December 28, 2010 at the Central Pavillon, Poblacion, this municipality.

The 3-in-1 affair was graced by Provincial Executive Council Vice Chairman for the 1st District of Cam. Sur Sir Archie Soriano (300-01) who represented Sir Jennis I. Nidea (30-01), KB Bicol Regional Governor who was confined in a hospital in Naga City.

Elevated by Soriano assisted by KB518 President Toti Nidea were:  Sir Nestorio Borja who was given the regular call sign of 518-24; Sir Jeffrey Semilla, 518-25; Mam Evangeline "Bebot" D. Abejuro, 518-26; Sir Henry Matutilla, 518-27 and; Sir Samuel Palenzuela, 518-28.

According to Sir Toti Nidea the 5 newly elevated regular members have undergone almost one (1) year of screening processes.

Confirmed applicants were: Alvin Gonzaga who was given a temporary call sign of 518-Bravo 01; Lito Nipalo, 518-B02; Larry Sarol, 518-B03; Stedheim D. Abejuro, 518-B04; Raul Despacio, 518-B05; Jaime Riego, 518-B06; Salvador Toledo, 518-B07 and; Arlan Samonte, 518-B08.  

Lilian SJ. Matamorosa, former first lady of Lupi  being the wife of former Mayor Bobby Matamorosa & Dario Mercadero, an LGU employee, who were both did not attend the confirmation rites due to some important and pressing matters, will be given a special confirmation ceremonies.

In his message, Sir 300-01 said that he is very thankful and "very much proud that the chapter (KB518) we organized and founded are so active in extending voluntary services".

The PEC Vice Chairman who is also the chapter president of Ragay (KB300) chapter urged the entire membership to extend the incoming leadership led by incoming Regional Governor Sir Irvin C. Ayo (30-54) "the same support we extend during the 4-year stint as regional governor of Sir 30-01, our acknowledged founder of KB Bicol", he stressed.

On his part, Sir 518-01 said that their chapter was so grateful to Sir 30-01 "Na nagtiyaga sa amin sa ilang beses naming pag-attempt na mabuo ang chapter na ito".

"Dahil po sa walang pagod na pagbibigay suporta at pagpapalakas ng aming kalooban ni Sir 30-01, natupad din ang aming pangarap na muling maitayo sa bayan ng Lupi ang isang matatag na samahan ng mga boluntir", 518-01 pointed out.

He assured the incoming REC officers of the wholehearted support from the officers and members of the KB Lupi.
