KB BICOL IS THE OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION GROUP OF THE 2011 ASEAN NEIGHBORHOOD INVITATIONAL JAMBOREE

LIGAO City -- The Albay Chapters led by  Provincial Chairman Sir Tonyboy Imperial (500-06) of the Kaboronyogan nin mga Bicolnon (KB Bicol, Inc., a volunteer communication organization is all set to assist the City Government of Ligao, Philippine National Police and the Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) as it host more than 4,000 boys scouts and scouters who are expected to participate in the 2011 ASEAN Neighborhood Invitational Jamboree which will be held January 17 - 22, 2011 at the Kawa-kawa, California Village, Tuburan, this city.

Sir 500-06 said that KB Bicol is the official communication group for the said international scouting jamboree.

He said that among the responsibilities of the KB Bicol are: 1) To assist the PNP and the City Government in securing the area by setting-up several public assistance booths manned jointly by the PNP, LGU & KB Bicol personnel; 2) To assign KB Bicol members with portable radio  during Tour Guide and 3) to regularly patrol the vicinity to ensure orderly and peaceful event.
