KBNET QUEZON TO CONDUCT ORIENTATION FOR POTENTIAL MEMBERS OF SOON TO BE OPENED CHAPTER IN 3 TOWNS

ATIMONAN, Quezon -- The KBNet Quezon Province is slated to conduct orientation seminar for the potential members, majority of whom are former active volunteer-members of a radio civic organization, prior to the holding of Confirmation Ceremonies and eventually, organizing of new chapters in at least three (3) municipalities in the province.

This was learned yesterday from Sir Jojit Jariel, KBNet Quezon Provincial Executive Council (PEC) Chairman who also said that the Orientation will be conducted during the PEC Meeting on March 13, 2011 (Sunday) which will be hosted by the Atimonan (KBN147) Chapter, this municipality.

Jariel said thay they invited the presence of KBNet Phils Founder/National President Jennis Nidea (30-01) to lead in the conduct of the said Orientation.

To be discussed at the said gathering, according to Jariel are the Accreditation given by the PNP Provincial Office of Quezon and the Bureau of Fire Protection, 3-day Training Seminar on Disaster Management and Emergency Response which will be given by the PNP & BFP in coordination with the Phil. Red Cross, and a lot more.

Meanwhile, Sir Ding Mapula (400-10), KBNet Quezon - Calauag (KBN400) Chapter President and PEC Vice Chairman said that they are expecting potential members from Tagkawayan, Agdangan and San Narciso, all of Quezon, to attend said orientation. "We are still expecting potential members of another Quezon town to attend the orientation, but can't divulge yet the name of the town in the absence of confirmation of their presence", he added.

Jariel said that for the first time, the food (and 56) for the provincial gatherings of KBNet chapters in Quezon will be sponsored by members who birthday celebrators in the month of March such as: 401-25, 147-56 & 147-66 and many more.

Expected to attend the event are the officers and members of Calauag (KBNet400) Chapter, Unisan (KBN401) Chapter, Gumaca (KBN402) Chapter, Mauban (KBN403), Pagbilao (KBN404) Chapter and, Plaridel (KBN405).
