MALILIPOT (KB517) CHAPTER CELEBRATES 1ST CHARTER ANNIVERSARY TODAY

MALILIPOT, Albay (March 12, 2011) -- Exactly one year ago today, thirteen (13) regular members of the Tabaco City (KB222) Chapter, who are residents of this town, have organized themselves into one independent chapter known as KB Bicol - Malilipot (KB517) Chapter.

The chartering which was held at the covered court of Malilipot National High School was presided over by KBNet founder & national president Sir Jennis I. Nidea (30-01), then the incumbent KB Bicol regional governor assisted by then KB222 Chapter president Sir Gel Mulato (222-08) and Sir Tonyboy Imperial (500-06) of Ligao City (KB500) Chapter.

Also present during that momentous event were: former Malilipot Mayor Herminio Bitara, Albay Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Jun Bonafe, Malilipot PNP Chief Jose Pepito Belaro and Fire Chief Efren Realo.

The chartering of KB517 was duly endorsed by the KB222.

Sir222-08) in his remarked said that "It is high time that Malilipot should have their own chapter as the original or chartered members have already proven themselves as a true-blooded KB Bicol".

Chartered members (Lucky 13) of the KB517 were:  Roel B. Llarena (517-01), Lizandro C. Bilan (517-02), Pablito T. Binalla (517-03), Cherry  O. Bilan (517-04), Jonas R. Lozada (517-05), Rollie B. Llarena (517-06), Carmelo B. Bea (517-07), Arnel S. Azueta (517-08), Cris B. Crusis (517-09), Jerbis R. Lozada (517-10), Selvyn B. Bigtas (517-11), Crispin A. Evangelista (517-12) and, Wilfredo Lucañas (517-13).

Confirmed 1st batch applicants were: Djiovane Bo (517-Mama 01), Julius B. Boneo (517-M02) and, Eduardo del Castillo (517-M03).

While the Chartered Officers were: President - Roel Llarena (517-01); EVP - Andy Bilan (517-02); VP for Admin - Arnel Azueta (517-08); VP for Operation - Meloy Bea (517-07); Secretary - Cherry Bilan (517-04); Treasurer - Jonas Lozada (517-05) and; Auditor - Rollie Llarena (517-06).

In his message for the KB517, Sir Nidea extends his congratulations to the officers and members of as he challenged them to be more active and be ready to respond in any emergency especially in this time of season of typhoons and floods.
