MISSING BOY REUNITES WITH PARENT

MATNOG, Sorsogon -- Sir Johnny Primno (369-44), a volunteer member of the Kaboronyogan nin mga Bicolnon (KB Bicol), Inc. - Matnog, Sorsogon (KB3e69) Chapter sent an email to Sir Jennis I. Nidea (30-01), founder and national president of the KBNet Philippines, Inc. (KPI) about a 10-year old found on a Philtranco Bus bound for Visayas.

The said bus was about to board a ferry boat while being inspected, when the boy was discovered by the port inspector who immediately reported the discovery to the proper authorities - the Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office of Matnog.

Upon questioning, the said alleged that he came Gumaca or Lucena in the province of Quezon. The MSWDO immediately seek the assistance of the KB369 to ask for assistance to their chapters in the said areas in Quezon.

Sir Primo then wrote, thru email, Sir 30-01 who likewise informed KBNet Quezon thru its provincial chairman, Sir Jojit Jariel (147-17), who mobilized his chapters in locating the family of the missing boy.

Today, May 30, Sir Primo informed the natioanal president that the 10-yr old boy, Jason Martinez who was found on a Philtranco Bus bound for Visayas last May 6, 2011. allegedly from Gumaca or Lucena, Quezon & was surrendered for custody to the MSWDO Matnog, Sorsogon is now re-united w/ his parent today, May 30, w/ the help of KB Bicol & KBNet Quezon.

Nicdea commended the volunteer-members of KB Bicol & KBNet Quezon "for a job well done".

KB Bicol & KBNet Quezon are member-organizations of the KPI, a national network & umbrella organization of volunteer groups in the country.
