KPI CITED KB518 CHAPTER

LUPI, Camarines Sur  -- “The Lupi (KB518) Chapter is one of the outstanding chapters of the Kaboronyogan nin mga Bicolnon (KB Bicol), Inc. as proven by their accomplishments and achievements in just one (1) year of existence”.

Thus says KBNet Phils Inc. (KPI) founder & national president Sir Jennis I. Nidea (30-01) who graced the 1st  Anniversary Celebration of the KB518 on August 14, 2011 held in Bgy. Colacling, this municipality which was also attended by the officers and members of KB Bicol – Daet (KB139) Chapter, KBNet Quezon – Atimonan (KBN147) and Gumaca (KBN402) chapters and the chapter-organizer KB Bicol – Ragay (KB300) Chapter.

Highlights of the event includes the elevation of eight (8) applicants into regular members and confirmation of four (4) new applicants. The elevation and confirmation rites was presided over by Sir Archie Soriano (300-01), KB300 President and Vice Chairman for 1st district of the Provincial executive Council of Cam. Sur (PEC-CS) who represented PEC Chairman Sir Jaime Kalaw, Jr.. He was assisted by KB518 president Sir Toti Nidea (518-01).

In his message Nidea said that celebrating an anniversary is “not only a mere of celebrating it with foods and drinks but it must serve as a day of reminiscing the past, savoring the one year of good accomplishment and great achievement in serving the community and to learned lesson from the mistakes and the most important is to look forward for the challenges that we will be facing tomorrow with the objective of surpassing what we've done yesterday”.

Nidea said that KB518 started with only 21 original members when it was organized and in just a matter of 365 days, they have a total of 36 active members and still growing.

The former KB Bicol regional governor attributes the rapid growth of membership to the leadership of Sir Toti Nidea (518-01) and the entire officers “as they are almost always in action of assisting activities of the local government, by the PNP and their prompt response in vehicular accidents along Quirino Highway”.

Newly elevated members who belong to the Bravo Batch were: Sir Alvin Gonzaga who was given a regular call sign of 518-29. Sir Lito Nipolo (518-30), Hilario Sarol (518-31), Sir Jaime Riego (518-32), Erwin Elevado (518-33),  Charlie Melvida (518-34), Sir Jerry Cabaña (518-35) and Jerry Bulawan (518-36).

Confirmed applicants were: Reyman Antipolo who was given a temporary call sign of 518-Charlie 01), Rasl Lontoc (518-C02), Al Carlo Bitara (518-C03) and Dante Morico (518-C04).
