KB Bicol to charter its Atimonan Chapter

ATIMONAN, Quezon  --  The people of this progressive town of Quezon is now eagerly awaiting the re-launching of the “revitalized” non-government, voluntary organization which is set to be formally chartered on February 28, 2009 at the Cultural Bldg, ACS Compound, this municipality with Mayor Jose F. Mendoza as its guest of honor and speaker.

Meanwhile, the officers of the regional executive council (REC) of KB Bicol are slated to have a regional officers' meeting here at 1-3pm, Saturday.

With its theme: “Volunteerism: Our Way of Life”!, the Kabalikat Atimonan (KB147) Chapter, which is now affiliated with the Kabalikat Bicol (Bridging & Integrating Chapters Of Luzon) will be having its 4-in-1 Affair  -- the elevation of its regular members, charging & installation of its chartered officers, chartering of the chapter and the confirmation of new applicants.  On the same occasion, the KB147 will confer honorary membership to 19 prominent government officials and private individuals.

Expected to grace the momentous event are the KB Bicol regional officers led by governor Jennis I. Nidea (30-01), vice gov & PEC Csur chairman Bong San Andres (276-08), PEC Albay chairman Boyet Revidad (500-01), regional treasurer  & Cnorte PEC chairman Nahom S. Omaña (214-27) and Sorsogon PEC chairman Mel Balin (122-44).

Also expected to attend are representatives from various chapters of KB Bicol not from the Bicol region but also from the National Capital Region.

According to Gov. Nidea the REC Officers meeting will tackle various agenda especially about the forthcoming KB Bicol 3rd anniversary celebration and the 1st Luzon Summit on April 25-26, 2009 at the Sorsogon State College, Sorsogon City.
